Introduction to Course
In
this course you will develop as writers who can compose genuine texts
in the field of news and current affairs. However, we
will emphasise not only format, structure, style and composition, but
we will properly consider how the news is constructed and how
current issues are
presented, and reported. Of great importance, therefore is that you
develop and engage the critical thinking skills to
unravel commonly discussed ideas, concepts and
beliefs. You will be expected to compose news reports and features
- employing such
skills as interviewing and research, on
your way to re-examining the current issues and problems we face as a
culture, a nation a global
community. In the process, you will become members of a
multi-university project - the Thai News Network
